This episode is so good that we stretch it into two parts. You’ll need time digest all the jewels of knowledge and analysis of the conditions behind the hurt that affects Black people in poor communities. A Hatian immigrant, Jim speaks about his trauma as a child navigating Brooklyn as a teen in the 2000’s, how he met President Obama, and his choice to go to prison when he was 17ish.  Oh, and him I settle a Brooklyn street beef on air.  Yeah, this episode will make you want to listen twice.  Also, purchase a copy of Jim’s critically acclaimed book, A Stone of Hope.
